Local Public Health provides education for 4th, 5th and 6th grade students as requested on hygiene and sexual development.
Each LPH agency in North Country assists schools with Health Screenings including vision and hearing, referral, education and follow up.
Clearwater County Nursing Service contracts with the school districts to provide school nursing services. This includes a School nurse up to 10 hours per week and School Health Para professionals in the Bagley Elementary building and the Clearbrook-Gonvick School for 6-7.5 hours per school day.
Lake of the Woods County-A CHI Lakewood Public Health nurse provides oversight for the district LPN that works in the school building
