North Country CHS is committed to protecting the health of the citizens of Clearwater, Hubbard and Lake of the Woods counties through our infectious disease programs.

Our staff work to educate and inform our communities about diseases and prevention of diseases, including immunizations that protect us from them.  We work closely with the Minnesota Department of Health as well as our local healthcare providers to monitor and investigate diseases. 

Some examples include: Tuberculosis, Influenza, COVID-19, Whooping cough (Pertussis) and Sexually Transmitted Infections.

Each of our Local Public Health Agency’s work with Minnesota Department of Health’s NW District Epidemiologist related to Infectious Diseases in our communities.

 

COVID-19

NC CHS continues to monitor cases of COVID-19 in our communities.  We are and will continues to share information about cases and what you can do to protect yourself and your community on our Facebook pages and through information sent to our local newspapers.
