Each Local Public Health agency employs a Child Passenger Safety Technician to provide education and car seat distribution to eligible members of health plans to help you make sure that your child is in the right car seat.
Car Seats are available at our office locations at no or low cost, either through insurance or through a grant program. If you are in need of a car seat, or assistance with a seat, you may contact the nearest Public Health location for assistance. Car Seats installations require that the child's parent or guardian go through training on proper safety and installation and be present for the installation.
