The Early Hearing Detection Intervention (EHDI) program aims to ensure that newborns, infants and young children who are deaf or hard of hearing are identified and get the care they need when they need it.
- Public Health is notified from the Minnesota Department of Health about children in our counties who have been diagnosed with a congenital birth defect or have been identified as needing follow up hearing testing.
The purpose is to ensure families are connected with necessary resources for early intervention.
